Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
I would like to notify that VII Tkaczewski International Piano Competition will take place in Sanatorium Marconi in Busko-Zdroj, Poland.
As a concert pianist, I know, how important role in the life of young musicians plays participating in international piano competitions. I am extremely happy to switch back from organizing the competition virtually to the real world. I would like to thank to our main sponsor – RTV Euro AGD, for staying with us in these difficult times. I would also like to thank Connecticut Chopin Foundation and Uzdrowisko Busko-Zdrój for co-organizing this event and providing substantial support.
Jury will include famous musicians: Krystian Tkaczewski (Poland/USA) -President, Vovka Ashkenazy (Iceland), Jan Popis (Poland) Gajusz Kęska (Poland), Jia Shi (China/USA) and Eugene Choi (Republic of Korea).
The total of prizes will be ca. 10000 USD, including ca. 4000 USD in cash and 6000 in concerts, masterclasses and festivals engagements. Winners will be presented at the winners concert at Sanatorium Marconi in Busko-Zdroj.
Selected top winners will have an opportunity to perform at International Chopin Festival named after Barbara Hese-Bukowska in Busko-Zdroj and International Festival Maestro Krystian Tkaczewski and his Guests in Tarnow.
